Kempt1. Who sells
Kempt is sold on usekempt.app. Payment is handled by Stripe, which takes your card details on its own checkout page; Kempt never sees them. Questions about an order: support@usekempt.app.
2. What you buy
A personal, perpetual licence for Kempt 1, paid once, with no subscription. It includes every update to version 1. A future major version may be offered separately.
Use Kempt on the Macs you own or personally use. One licence is for one person; a team needs one per person. Don’t resell, rent or publicly share your key, or decompile the app beyond what the law allows.
3. Delivery
Your licence key arrives by email right after payment, with a link that activates Kempt in one click. The key is checked on your Mac, offline. Keep the email: it’s your proof of purchase.
4. Free trial
Kempt works in full for 14 days from its first launch. After that, without a licence, search, Ask, undo, your files and the dossiers you already made keep working; automatic filing, new dossiers and exports need a licence.
5. Refunds and withdrawal
Write to support@usekempt.app within 30 days of buying and we refund you in full, no questions asked. Your files stay where they are.
Because the key is delivered immediately, by buying you ask for the licence to start at once and acknowledge that the 14-day legal withdrawal right for digital content ends when you receive it. Our 30-day refund still applies, so you lose nothing.
6. Requirements
A Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 26, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Some features rely on Apple’s on-device services (languages, speech recognition) and their availability where you live.
7. Your files
Kempt renames and moves files when you ask it to, or under the settings you choose (automatic filing, rules). It never deletes: what you remove goes to the Trash, and every move can be undone in the app. Names and values Kempt suggests can be wrong; check a dossier before you send it. Keep a backup of your Mac, for example with Time Machine.
8. Updates
Once a day Kempt checks usekempt.app for a newer version, sending only its version number. Updates are signed and install only when you agree. You can turn the check off in Settings.
9. Warranty and liability
Kempt is provided as is, with no warranties beyond those the law requires. As far as the law allows, liability is limited to the price you paid, and excludes indirect damage such as data loss or a rejected application. Nothing here limits consumer rights that can’t be waived by contract, including those of your country of residence.
